Possibilities: 1. replace the back 12 ft of the house with footings, framed walls, wood joists and floor, trussed new roof, new plumbing, new wiring, finished siding, and have a basically new house saving the original front 2 rooms. This would bring the house back up to the 680 square foot house the Lake County tax appraiser thinks is there now. Current owners have kept the original building to take advantage of the existing electrical connection and additional living floor space.

Remove the rest of the old house, and replace it with a new build, or a new single-wide or double-wide mobile home, and connect it to the existing septic, well and electric.

Install a motor home or travel trailer, taking advantage of the existing utilities. This could be done immediately as a temporary solution while completing possibility 1 or 2 as outlined above.

Leave things as they are, and use this property as a full functioning destination for motorhome or travel trailer trips, such as over the winter from a northern home
